'Tis the Season!

Things have been busy this Holiday Season! CPCU collected slightly-used coats, sweaters and jackets for the Native American non-profit organization, Heartbridge. A representative of Heartbridge came by Friday morning to collect the over 50 coats & jackets we gathered for the children.

Pictured on the left, (l to r) Lamesha, Carol Young Founder and CEO of Heartbridge, Marquita, and inactive Marine/retired USPS/ CPCU Member, Jerry Smitherman giggle with the joy of the season as they pose with a small sampling of our collection of coats, scarves, hats and gloves for Native American Children in North Dakota.

Heart Bridge wants to thank the CPCU Members for their support of our Native Americans. The coats were shipped (USPS)and are being use to fight the bitter cold weather on the Pine Ridge Reversation.
Thank you verry much,
Jerry Smitherman
